Eponymous

For one year, I bought a t-shirt from every place I went that sold t-shirts with the name of that place on it. I collected a total of 79 eponymous t-shirts, which celebrated locations ranging from the Carbondale Public Library to the state of Iowa to the Liberace Museum to the Alamo.

These shirts were then presented in a store-like display in the Mitchell Museum at the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and re-sold for their original price. This display also included a catalog with images of all the shirts and statistics on their collection.

I have sporadically re-sold portions of the remaining shirts on Ebay for their original price.

You can download the catalog, which pictures all of the shirts, and collects the statistics on their prices, purchasing locations, etc., here.
