The Rebels and Resistance in Star Wars are widely thought of as pure, democracy-oriented organizations, which have at times been appropriated by various real-world movements. However, they were also guilty of widespread war crimes.
In this PDF, presented at Realizing the Resistance III, I discuss various members of the Rebels and groups that allied themselves with or worked with them, including Mon Mothma, Luthen Rael, Cassian Andor, Saw Gerrera, Enfys Nest, Spectre Squadron, Doctor Aphra, and Crimson Dawn, and their differing levels of morality and criminality.
