I asked people to draw a dinosaur at various points in its day, including when it wakes up, when it eats lunch, when it has free time, and when it is with its family.
This project investigates how people will approach the idea of a dinosaur’s life: by anthropomorphizing it, or by thinking of it naturalistically, and if so, whether they think of it through the lens of some modern animal or through the lens of real paleontological evidence.
The projects shown here come from a kindergarten class at Ed Smith Elementary School. More recent images from a range of participants, as well as an analysis of the drawings, will be coming soon.
