Hello

I sat in the doorstep in front of 16 Beaver Street in New York and said “hello” to everyone who walked by.

Whenever anyone looked back at me, I would start counting aloud until they broke eye contact. I did not get very high.

I performed Hello in an era where I would design posters for each performance after I did them, then I would display the poster, as seen here, in future exhibitions.
