These 16 figures have all been caught in the act of playing poker. They have been grouped into four categories: artists, celebrities, politicians, and cartoon characters.
The face has long been held to act as a window into one’s personality. As such, I analyzed each of the above figures’ faces according to two books, Mike Caro’s Book of Tells: The Body Language of Poker and What Your Face Reveals: Chinese Secrets of Face Reading, by Henry B. Lin, in order to determine both short- and long-term predictors of their futures.

In the short term, using these references, we can discover what these people will do next in their poker games, and in the long term, we can determine how their personalities will shape their fates over the rest of their lives.
At the time I made this piece, I often included accompanying texts in a binder, lodged in a binder box jutting off the wall, as seen here. You can find that analysis of the people’s faces here.
